Our days seem to be running together! Everyone walking the Camino can not remember what city we are in, what day of the week it is, nor do we remember what the date is. Most of the time we can not remember peoples names but somehow we remember what city and / or country they are from or remember them by the clothes they are wearing. We can't tell you what clothes are clean or when we last did laundry and even after we do laundry we don't know what's clean or dirty since we only have 2 sets clothes and yet when we put our packs on our backs it seems heavier than the day before. When someone asks us where we came from last night, we have to really think about it. We always ask the local people where we are and what day of the week it is. Every time we get to our next location, no matter how tired we are, we have to find the next place to stay depending on how far we are planning to go the next day. We have met people that had their entire Camino planned for them to include where they are going to stay, but they have all said that they should not have done that because it doesn't account for days that you may wake up sick or for instances of injury or maybe you just want one extra rest day to regroup.

Despite all that, we are having the time of our lives!! This has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding journeys we have ever been on.

“All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.”
